I was looking for a new (and close) Chinese food restaurant as I stopped going to my previous one. I'm definitely going to give Ginger Garden my business!
I tried the black pepper beef, salt and pepper squid and chicken fried rice. The black pepper chicken was the most flavorful dish I've tried at every take out I've been to. The chicken was soft, moist and full of sauce (it also had a nice kick of spice to it). The fried rice tasted better than what you would expect a standard fried rice dish to taste like. I'm not too sure if it's the type of soy sauce or spices they add, but it's quite delicious. The salt and pepper squid was good as well, it might've needed a bit more spice but that's because I love spicy food.
Last but not least was the service. They were very friendly and outgoing. It took less than 10 minutes to make everything fresh. I already saved this business' number on my phone and am looking forward to ordering here in the future. -

I was visiting Calgary and determined to have some great ginger beef or chicken. I was very disappointed with their ginger chicken as had it too much batter, the piece of chicken were so thin I could barely see or taste it, the sauce had no heat and was far too sweet.

Literally best Chinese food in the city. Hands down. Don't let the tiny storefront and modest interior fool you! This food is always hot, fresh and perfect. We love the ginger beef, Shanghai noodles and mixed vegetables. Portions are huge and a meal for one is often enough for two. What really puts this restaurant in my top spot though is the lovely family that runs it. You can truly tell they put a lot of care and love into the food and they are always so friendly and welcoming.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Calgary. Great customer service, food was delivered fast, and the portions were generous. Will definitely be coming back!
